Knight Controls, a specialist in Building Management Systems (BMS) services, maintenance, upgrades, and installations, was tasked with enhancing the energy efficiency of the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Hotel.
The project involved upgrading the existing Siemens BMS to improve the hotel’s operational performance. Siemens’ Desigo building management system enables comprehensive monitoring and control of building automation and control systems through a single tool, facilitating efficient management of various building functions.
To further enhance energy management capabilities, Knight Controls integrated the Optergy Energy Management System (EMS) into the hotel’s infrastructure. Optergy EMS provides real-time visualization and reporting of utility and meter data, allowing for effective monitoring and management of energy consumption. This system supports the identification of energy-saving opportunities and contributes to the building’s sustainability initiatives.
The combined upgrade of the Siemens BMS and the installation of the Optergy EMS have resulted in improved energy efficiency and operational performance at the Hilton London Heathrow Airport Hotel. These enhancements align with the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and provide a more comfortable environment for guests.
